MOSCOW, September 17 (Itar-Tass) — The launch of next Soyuz manned spaceship, planned for October 15, has been postponed until after Oct 20, Vladimir Popovkin, Director of the Federal Space Agency, told journalists on Monday.
"In view of the need for replacement of one of the instruments of the Soyuz-TMA-06M, a decision has been taken to replace the instrument and carry out additional checkups. This is why the launch is now to be effected within a third ten-day period of October," Popovkin said.
