| Flu vaccine not sold at retail yet - minister

MOSCOW, November 22 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Minister of Public Health and
Social Development Tatyana Golikova on Saturday warned people in connection with
advertisements offering “private vaccinations” against H1N1 flu strain.
The minister said at the present moment all Russian enterprises producing
this vaccine supply it only for needs of the state and it is not sold at retail
as of yet. Vaccination proceeds as scheduled and is free of charge, she told the
Saturday news programme at Rossiya television.
The minister also said the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Federal
Anti-Monopoly Service and the Roszdravnadzor Federal Service on Surveillance in
healthcare and Social Development are looking into overpricing of protective
masks and anti-flu medicines.
